Billie is a German startup that provides BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) payment methods to the B2B market. It helps small businesses reinvent their working capital management. The innovative lending products, accompanied by a solid tech stack, automate the invoice financing process for small businesses – and solves their order-to-cash problems. It also offers a pay-after-delivery product to the B2B online merchants – helping them secure better payment terms.
The main challenge for Billie was volume; the number of live roles exceeded their capacity in their internal talent function. The Talent Team Lead had been working hard on building trust between the talent team and the rest of the company and it was important for Billie to start hiring some great talent into the business, quickly.
Within six months, Kandidate sourced and placed many quality candidates into their product and sales teams. We also worked on the process development for future hiring, accompanied by competitive analysis, which has enabled Billie to move forward with their future hiring sustainably. These foundations will help Billie scale and become a market leader in the BNPL market for B2B companies.
The average time per hire for the roles was 44 days. Given the high demand for sales and product roles, achieving this number was a great success!
